What is a Brix?
When you sell Brix, investors purchase fractional economic interests in your property. You retain full legal ownership and continue living in or using your property as normal. Investors hold an economic interest, not a legal title.
Do investors own my property?
The timeline varies depending on the property and investor demand. Typically, the process from application to funding can take several weeks. Our team works with you throughout the process to ensure a smooth experience.
Can I still live in my home?
No. Investors hold a fractional economic interest (Brix), not legal ownership. You remain the registered legal owner of your property throughout the entire process.
Can I buy my Brix back?
Property costs such as rates, insurance, and maintenance remain the responsibility of the property owner. Investors hold an economic interest and are entitled to a proportional share of any growth or income as defined in the product terms.
What fees apply?
Yes. Selling Brix does not affect your right to occupy your property. You continue to live in and use your home exactly as you do today.
Who can apply?
Yes. You can buy back Brix over time, subject to the terms of your agreement. This allows you to progressively rebuild your full economic interest in your property at your own pace.
Is my information secure?
A Brix is a fractional economic interest in a property. Each Brix represents a proportional share of the property’s value. Brix are the core unit of the MyBrix platform, enabling fractional property funding and investment.
How long does funding take?
Fees vary depending on the funding amount and structure. Full fee disclosure is provided in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) before you commit to anything. We are committed to transparency — no hidden charges.
What if my property doesn't get funded?
If your property does not reach its funding target, no transaction is completed and you are under no obligation. We will work with you to explore alternative options or relaunch when conditions are more favourable.
